In the 1950s, Hollywood Feed opened its first pet supply store on the corner of Hollywood Street and Chelsea Avenue in Memphis, TN. After being loyal customers for years, the McGhee family and some other local partners decided to buy its three stores in 2006 with the goal of offering a superior shopping experience to more pet lovers.
With the addition of PetPeople, we have now expanded to 180+ locations in 19 states with a strong following across the country. The two brands share a passion for providing the best products and customer service for people who treat their pets like family, and our expanded scale now allows us to offer a greater product assortment at more affordable prices.

Hollywood Feed considered PetPeople a competitor with a very similar focus: providing the best products and customer service for people who treat their pets like family. Continuing Hollywood Feed's growth via the acquisition of PetPeople was a natural step, and our expanded scale now allows us to offer a greater product assortment at more affordable prices.
A: All PetPeople gift cards are converted to the Hollywood Feed system. Your in-store gift cards will still be redeemable in store, and your online gift cards will be redeemable online and in-store. All future Hollywood Feed gift cards can either be purchased online at hollywoodfeed.com or in-store and can be redeemed online or in-person, as well.
A: Yes! If you or your pet doesn't love an item you purchased at PetPeople, you can return it at any PetPeople or Hollywood Feed location. That's part of our Hollywood Feed Promise!

A: We have worked to integrate the systems and consolidate all purchase information into new Hollywood Feed accounts where you will be able to see your purchase history from PetPeople. Simply enter your email and click forgot password to reset your password and enter your new account.
A: The PetPeeps program has been discontinued, so that we can provide the new Hollywood Feed benefits to you right away. This means more savings, on average, and better case discounts. Plus, expect to see more promotions on the items you love. Any outstanding credit will be transferred to your customer account. A: Hollywood Feed has expanded our brand offerings to include many of the PetPeople brands. You will not lose any credits accumulated when your PetPeople location transitions into a Hollywood Feed. A select few will be discontinued as PetPeople locations transition into a Hollywood Feed due to lack of participation and brand support.
