Q: What is the Frequent Feeder Program?
Our Frequent Feeder Program issues a coupon reward when you reach the program limit for a participating brand.
For instance, for a brand with a program limit of 12, after you have made 12 eligible purchases within that brand, a coupon reward will be placed on your account for the average amount of those 12 purchases.
Our Frequent Feeder program works by averaging the purchases made under a particular brand over time and issuing a coupon for that average amount that can go towards a redeemable purchase.
Q: How do I join the Frequent Feeder Program?
If you aren't already a Frequent Feeder, ask a Feed Team member how to become one! Simply tell a Feed Team member you want to be a Frequent Feeder, purchase the required number of bags OR cans from participating brands, & redeem your *Free Product. It’s that easy!
Q: Do I have to pay tax on my free product?
Yes, you still have to pay tax on your free product. The free product is applied as a manufacturer sponsored coupon. A manufacturer discount is any physical coupon (or promotion) applied to a sale in which Hollywood Feed will be receiving reimbursement for the discount/coupon amount from the manufacturer or vendor. If Hollywood Feed is receiving revenue from any source for the sale of a product, then sales tax must be collected. Q: How is the free product applied to my transaction?
Free product is applied as a coupon reward on your customer account & is specific to each brand. For example, Fromm Rewards can only be used on Fromm products (dog/cat food, wet/dry food, treats, & any other eligible products of the same brand will accumulate towards a single coupon reward to be applied to your account). The coupon reward is an average dollar value of the required amount of eligible purchases within the brand.
Q: What purchases are eligible for the Frequent Feeder program?
Currently, there are three ways to receive credit for our Frequent Feeder program: by purchasing eligible products in-store, online for Curbside Pick-Up, or online for Same Day Delivery.
Each of our vendors also sets which products can contribute to an In-Store Frequent Feeder program. Additionally, our vendors set minimum store prices and minimum online prices for all their products which we must abide by or risk losing the ability to sell their products.
Due to our compliance with these vendor-set pricing guides and the agreements on which products contribute to the programs, we cannot include any products sold at an online price and shipped via FedEx or other mail carrier as part of our Frequent Feeder program. Only products sold at store price and delivered directly from a store using either Same Day Delivery or Curbside Pickup will contribute.
Given these restrictions, customers who order online and have their order shipped via FedEx will unfortunately not be able to accumulate Frequent Feeder credits.

Q: Can my rewards roll over?
Rewards do NOT roll over. Once you get your reward, redeem it on anything under the brand including food and treats. You may purchase something more expensive than your reward and pay the difference. If you purchase something less expensive than your reward, you forfeit the remainder of your reward. Rewards must be used and cannot be accumulated over time.
Q: Can I get my free product delivered for free with Same Day Delivery?
You may not get your free product delivered for free through Same Day Delivery. Delivery charges do apply unless you make additional purchases that equal the $49 requirement for free delivery.
Q: How is Frequent Feeder eligibility determined?
Frequent Feeder Eligibility is determined based on brand as well as delivery method. Some purchases made online are not eligible for Frequent Feeder benefits due to vendor agreements. Contact customer service at 888-816-8691 or email [email protected] to determine specific eligibility.
Q: How are Frequent Feeder awards calculated?
Our Frequent Feeder program works by averaging the purchases made under a particular brand over time and taking the average amount off of your redeemable purchase. For example, with Fromm, you can redeem your discount after 12 purchases of dog food (cases of cans or bags of dry food). If you buy a small bag half the time, and a large bag the other half, you would receive a coupon averaging the amount spent over those 12 bags, which would be less than a full large bag would cost.
Once you have reached the required purchase amount per brand, you can use their reward for anything within that brand at any Hollywood Feed location (including treats). For example, you typically buy Orijen Dog 6 Fish 13 lb. You are ready to redeem the reward and have a coupon amount of $67.99 available. You can either redeem the coupon and get the Orijen Dog 6 Fish 13 lb for free (plus tax) or the customer can buy the 25 lb bag of Orijen Dog Regional Red and use their reward amount of $67.99 toward the bigger bag.
You may also use the reward on multiple items if the items are within the same Frequent Feeder brand. For example, you have a reward value of $48.99 from purchasing 12 bags of ACANA Cat Grasslands 10 lb. You can decide to redeem the reward for ACANA Cat Grasslands 4 lb bag and several bags of Orijen treats up to the amount of $48.99.
Remember, rewards do not rollover, so it is important that you use the entire amount during the transaction to get the best deal.
Q: How do I apply my Frequent Feeder credit to my order?
To apply your Frequent Feeder credit online, please follow these steps:
- Log into your your account on www.hollywoodfeed.com.
- If there is a Frequent Feeder credit that can be redeemed, you will see a green text box reflecting the amount and brand associated with the credit. You can click on this box to see more information.
- Add your items to your cart (including your redeemable items).
- Proceed to checkout.
- Once in the checkout page, fill out your shipping address and your payment information. Ensure your cart and all of your information is correct.
- You will see a green box with under your payment information. It will highlight your Frequent Feeder coupon.
- Click "APPLY" next to "Loyalty Program ($XX.XX) Brand of Pet Food." This will apply the coupon to your order, and the coupon will be reflected in the new Order Total.
- Select your preferred delivery method, if applicable.
- Place your order.
Please note that you must use at least 90% of the credit, and it will only appear in your checkout when you have met or exceeded 90% of the amount of the coupon. For example, if you have $25.00 towards X Brand of dog food, you must place at least $22.50 or more of that brand's products into your cart before the credit can be applied. Any credit that is leftover will be forfeited.

They have a great selection of quality food to appeal to all 6 of my cats- from my special needs boy who's allergic to everything to my pickiest eater. And I love that most products have a reward system that gives you a free bag/case of food after like 10 or so purchases. I'm always happily surprised when I'm told that I've earned a free case (or bag) of my bougie cat food and only have to pay the few bucks in taxes. Lol.
Their return policy is top notch, as well- if for any reason your pet doesn't like/ can't eat a food, they'll give a full refund even if it's opened. Super helpful when trying to find a food that my allergic guy can tolerate. Plus, the workers are helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly.
Literally my only "complaint" about this place is that they put up Christmas decorations at Halloween and it makes me cringe, lol! But obviously, the rest makes me able to cope with that small perturbation. ??
Oh, and they also offer same day delivery! Or next morning, if, like me, you ever find yourself on your last can of food at 10 pm because you forgot to stop on the way home. You'll wake up with your furkids' breakfast at your doorstep.

I have shopped at Hollywood Feed in NLR since it opened a few years ago. Never have I had a bad or confusing experience. I go generally bi weekly but often more. The staff goes out of their way to help me and ask about taking merchandise to car, lift or carry for me. I see them helping other people who are not familiar with certain products with efficiency, professionalism and knowledge. I love the Frequent Buyer program and today got $38.00 off my total. Best customer service, bar none anywhere and any type of store in my area. Consistent and reliable and super clean.
