DOG TRAINING CLASSES
Sherri Chance, with Hardeman county K-9 Academy & Pet Lodge, provides dog training classes in our store every Monday evening. She holds two classes on that evening. Her first class begins at 5:00 p.m. and her second class begins at 6:00 p.m.. Everyone is welcome to come and observe a class before participating. Mrs. Chance also provides private classes, in-house training, K-9 behavioral consulting, and boarding. For information about her services you can call our store.
Dr. Genie Hooker and her staff come to our store to provide the community with low cost veterinary care. They are here the 2nd Saturday of every month from 9:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m.. Dr. Genie does the three year vaccinations. Call (901) 813-8117
RESCUE GROUPS AND ADOPTIONS
All of the employees in our store work closely with Fayette County Animal Control, Fayette County Animal Rescue, St. Francis Animal Rescue, and the citizens of Fayette County that need help finding homes for dogs and cats. We collect donations to help provide veterinary care for the dogs that get picked up by Fayette County Animal Control. We also trim pets nails for a donation. Fayette County Animal Control brings the stray dogs and owner surrendered dogs they pick up to our store so we can take pictures of them so they have a better chance of being adopted. We also assist customers that are looking for a specific breed of dog, by helping them get in contact with breed specific rescue groups. We are very proud of the work we do with rescue groups. We offer 10% off your first purchase and a free name tag after you adopt your new furry family member!
FUN THINGS IN OUR STORE
We always welcome pets in our store! We love when we have a group of dogs in our store playing. You can bring your furry friend to play anytime. We have several customers that come in the same time every week for a visit! We also offer nail clipping for a donation and we will even Furminate your furry friend!
We are now posting our youngest customers artwork of pets! If you would like your child's artistic talents displayed for all to see, bring them in to color, or you can bring their picture for us to post!
Our pets are here daily, and love to receive a belly rub or scratch behind the ear. Most importantly our dogs, Tannan, Sugar, Avery, Charlie Brown Robertson, Luke, Walker, Molly, Dash, and Buddy and our cat, Paul McCartney love children and other animals. If you want to give your child a fun treat, bring them in to play with our fur babies!
